Las novedades de hoy.

En Basara continué la historia del trigrito de Kai, enfrentándome al sr. Nobunaga. Ranmaru no me duró ni tres patadas y Nohime ni media mmm... Traté de irme rápido, entre que me aburre que los stages sean tan estúpidamente grandes, los enemigos salgan de la nada y la certeza de que Oda la hace tanto de jamón. Creo que la batalla que sigue será contra la Bestia... sigh...

Terminé la historia de Masamune sama en el 2, el estúpido trigrito volador de Kai la hizo bastante de tos para morirse; me tiene impresionada aun. También es cierto que no le encontré mucho sentido a la historia pero es Masamune sama así que cualquier argumento es inválido^^

Inicié la historia de Mori sama y mi admiración subió tres rayitas: en su primer escenario se echó al plato a la temible caballería de Takeda, a Sasuke, al trigrito y al señor Tigre de Kai y con más de 3/4 partes de hp.

En el 2.5 me lancé a conquistar la tierra del sol como el sr. Hideyoshi y para mi sorpresa se mueve muy similar al Ieyasu del 3, con la diferencia, hasta donde vi, de que no tiene pretenciones saiyan. Además de que se mueve lento y su voz no me acaba de convencer, tiene un ataque que me fascinó *-* agarra a un enemigo de su cabecita y a) lo avienta para hacer chuza con los demás o b) lo usa como garrote jajajajaja. Ahora entiendo un poco porque Mitsunari lo idolatra^^.

En el 3 seguí avanzando en la ruta azul del trigrito pero sólo un stage porque mis opciones no eran nada halagüeñas, ir con Motochika, con el nabe o al desierto. Elegí ir con el nabe ya que supuse la historia avanzaría de algún modo y el siguiente set de opciones era ir con Mori sama o con la Tsuruhime. Obviamente cuando regrese iré a visitar al gran Mori sama porque la voz de la Tsuruhime me pone de malas, malas y la evito como la plaga siempre que puedo.

En el 3.5 me di a la tarea de acabar las historias de Tenkai, Sorin, Muneshige y el Nabe (aka Kobayakawa Hideaki). La de Tenkai está genial, me encantó de cabo a rabo... aunque la batalla con Matsunaga fue crítica (como todas las batallas que he tenido contra él ._.;;;), extremadamente crítica pero por fin le gané (creo que fueron más de 5 intentos, no consecutivos, pero menos de 10 ^^u).

Sorin se mueve casi igual de rápido que Mitsunari pero es muuuuucho más errático y su damage output es de risa. Lo admito, sí la jugué en fácil igual que Muneshige y el Nabe, pero no tenía ganas de estrellar mi control contra la pared/suelo. El final de la historia me dejó con cara de WTDF xD.

La historia de Muneshige tiene menos sentido que la Sorin pero sorprendentemente jugar con él es menos molesto que jugar con la Hermosa Bestia Verde de Mimikawa.

Afortunadamente para el Nabe su historia tiene japi ending pero en una difícultad difícil no quiero saber nada de ella, hay un Motochika, un Masamune sama y un gandalla Kojuuro involucrados. El Nabe hace un daño bastante decente pero sus movimientos son raros... unos tienen que tener el enemigo enfrente-enfrente y otros tienen aoe o_O...

Mmm al parecer fue un día para el joven Sanada Yukimura, oh well...

独眼竜

Recientemente han intentado robarme a MI mío de mi propiedad Masamune kun ¬¬.  Obviamente no lo permitiré. Mientras achato la cuchara de té, seguiré mis ponderaciones sobre la traducción más adecuada de Dokuganryuu al castellano, sobre todo pensando en un hipotético doblaje.

Dragón de un solo ojo, Dragón de un ojo, Dragón Tuerto... mmm sí, quizás el último cubra los requisitos en sílabas... pero no lo oigo "bonito". Sin embargo los dos primeros podrían dar la impresión de que se habla de un dragón con sólo un ojo de nacimiento y no que lo haya perdido... y así el apodo de Kojuuro, El ojo derecho del Dragón, carecería de sentido.

- ¡Aaahhh, es el Dragón Tuerto de Oshu, huid a las colinas!

-Oh, tus habilidades no dejan nada a desear, dime quien eres.

-Usted caballero habla como si estuviese en su tierra y no es así, si desea conocer mi identidad, debe identificarse primero.

Oh sí, merezco ánimo y apoyo moral. Terminé la historia de la Hermosa Bestia Verde de Konoha también conocido como Shimazu Yoshihiro. Jugar con un ladrillo sería más rápido aunque dudo que el damage output sea igual. El choro que le echa a Mitsunari es bastante choroso y su plus fue matar a Hondam yeeeey ^-^

*Sighhhhhh* Aunque me faltan historias, razones y traiciones por conocer, una de mis favoritas es la de Nagamasa sama y Oichi. 

Puede que sea una trama trillada hasta el hartazgo pero de un modo u otro Nagamasa la hace memorable.

Ichi (pero como semos personas educadas nos referiremos a ella respetuosamente como Oichi) es hermana menor de Oda Nobunaga, su matrimonio con Azai Nagamasa es un movimiento político de su hermano para asegurar la retaguardia de su ejército en sus conquistas por la zona además de contar con las tropas de Azai.

Ultimadamente el plan de Oda era conquistar el territorio de los Azai y empezó por atacar a sus aliados Asakura para provocar la 'traición' de Azai y justificar así su ataque... como si Oda Nobunaga necesitara justificación para hacer algo -.-u

Si bien la presencia de Nagamasa sama en el universo de Sengoku Basara es menor, y bastante breve, deja una mayor impresión en la memoria que la de algunos personajes 'establecidos'.

Nagamasa sama aparece por vez primera en Sengoku Basara 2 como npc y no es jugable hasta el Basara 2.5 aka 'Heroes' en una mini historia gaiden con un extra cutoso japi ending.

Jugar como Nagamasa es 'raro pero familiar' a la vez; analizándolo en retrospectiva, tiene la velocidad de Mitsunari y una forma de atacar similar a la de Masamune... de hecho me parece la mezcla perfecta de ambos o.o

Nagamasa sama es un hombre honorable y comprometido con el ideal de Justicia, sí con máyuscula y todo, además de un adorable tsundere en su relación con Oichi. Y tal vez sea eso lo que lo hace tan atractivo como personaje; no sólo es un guerrero siguiendo a pies juntillas su bushido sino además un esposo atento aunque bastante mucho muy demasiado penoso. Nagamasa sama es un personaje mucho más humano y creíble (as far as Basara goes) que la mayoría del gallinero. Empezando por el otro par de matrimonios que son claramente más planos, a Oda no le interesa en lo más mínimo si Nohime vive o muere y a Toshiie sólo le interesa Matsu porque le da de tragar ¬_¬

Mitsunari es tan lindo^^.
Acabo de terminar la ruta verde de Motochika... y que decir. Este pirata en verdad verdadera es un tarado... ejem digo noble especimen.
Sí es lo que puedo sacar en claro de esta historia; Mitsunari es un amor, Motochika es... su proceso mental es más lento que la deriva continental ¬¬u, Ieyasu es una nena, Hondam huyó ya que lo tenía contra las cuerdas ¬¬**, Masamune es encantador y las alegorías de Kojuuro son desperdiciadas en Motochika.
Volveré a jugar esta ruta sólo por el placer de escuchar a Kojuuro decirle tarado de una forma tan sutil y elegante.

Crazy? Mmmm I wonder...

Llevo un rato jugando Sengoku Basara 3 -henceforth Basara-  y para mi horror me ha hecho pensar. Sí lo sé, no es misión ni cometido de un hack'n'slash hacer pensar a la gente pero ciertos diálogos en el modo de historia o mejor dijo en el modo de conquis... ejem,  'unificación' han llamado la atención de la neurona.

Comencemos por la anécdota. El juego  gira en torno a las figuras centrales de Tokuwaga Ieyasu e Ishida Mitsunari. Ambos vasallos de Toyotomi Hideyoshi en un pasado reciente hasta que Ieyasu decide asesinar a Hideyoshi para salvar a la tierra del sol de otro posible Oda Nobunaga. Desde luego esto no fue tomado nada a bien por Mitsunari que jura venganza contra el pusilánime traidor de Ieyasu. Ambos dos entonces se dan a la tarea de reclutar aliados para aniquilar al otro.

Este es el tema central pero para varios personajes es algo que sucede al margen de sus propias venganzas personales.

Ahora sí comienza el rant en forma.

Para todos usos y propósitos Mitsunari es el 'malo' de la historia ya que sus acciones son movidas por el inmeso, inmenso, inmeso, mucho muy grande odio hacia Ieyasu. Casi todos los personajes lo consideran mal de su cabecita por una razón o por otra y su ejército está armado más por cohersión que por convicción, al grado que el marica de Kobayakawa Hideaki lo traiciona en la batalla final yendo al bando de Ieyasu.

Por otro lado, el pusilánime traidor Hondam-rider de Ieyasu de la pasa de lujo ya que la gente prácticamente va amenzarlo/rogarle que los deje unirse a su ejército.

Lo primero que llamó mi atención es, ¿Por qué en una tierra donde el bushido impera, implicando lealtad absoluta, el backstabber de Ieyasu es visto como el 'bueno'? Y esa duda terrible fue creciendo a medida  que seguía jugando enterándome de los puntos de vista de los demás personajes.

Y para no faltar a mi costumbre llegué a una conclusión fatalista^^ pero no es momento de hablar de ella aquí. Así que seguiré ranteando.

Lo siguiente, y más normal, que llamó mi atención es la relación Shûjû (Señor/Lord/Daimyo- Vasallo/Retainer/Shinka). El ser Daimyo o Shinka determina un 98% el mindset de los personajes del Basara. De hecho personajes que no son Daimyo 'oficiales', son tratados así de facto porque eso es lo que son dentro del juego, Saika Magoichi, Tsuruhime, Oichi y Maeda Keiji. Las relaciones principales son:

Date Masamune - Katakura Kojuuro

Sanada Yukimura - Sarutobi Sasuke

Ishida Mitsunari - Ootani Yoshitsugo

Tokugawa Ieyasu - Honda Tadakatsu

Uesugi Kenshin - Kasuga

Hojo Ujimasa - Fuuma Kotaro

Maeda Toshiie - Matsu*

Otomo Sorin - Tachibana Muneshige

Kobayakawa Hideaki - Tenkai

Takeda Shingen - Sanada Yukimura

Oda Nubunaga - Akechi Mitsuhide

Toyotomi Hideyoshi - Ishida Mitsunari

Las relaciones después de '+' son más 'platicadas' que experimentadas en juego... pero ni Mitsunari, Yukimura o Mitsuhide son lo que se dice parcos a la hora de expresar su total y absoluta devoción a su señor. Y luego está el caso de Matsu, esposa de Toshiie pero igual, para usos y efectos es Shinka de Toshiie.

 Esto me llevó a desarrollar una escala de Obsesión Malsana por Su Señor, que llamaremos Escala Sasuke-Mitsunari aunque en realidad debería ser Tenkai-Akechi Mitsuhide pero eso es otro debraye.

Hay varios Daimyo que no tienen Shika pero que dentro de la historia se convierten en Shika de otro Daimyo, sin embargo como esas relaciones cambian de historia en historia no las tomé en cuenta para la escala en cuestión.

La escala es la siguiente:

(Tenkai) - Sasuke – Muneshige – Kotaro – Yoshitsugu– Matsu – Kasuga – Tadakatsu – Kojuuro - Yukimura – Mitsunari – (Akeshi Mitsuhide)

 ¿Por qué Sasuke al fondo en vez de Muneshige? Simplemente porque Muneshige obedece a Otomo aunque no le parezca lo que manda, mientras que Sasuke no duda en 'zapear' a Yukimura hasta que le parezca la orden. Es por su bien claramente, claramente.

Mitsunari vivía para servir a su Señor y es obvio que no puede estar tranquilo sabiendo que el traidor de Ieyasu anda en jauja, ¿Loco? No lo creo, por el contrario a mis ojitos es Ieyasu el que necesita una camisa nueva y una habitación acolchada, con todo lo que anda gritando en el juego sobre que prácticamente él es el mesías ._. 

Yukimura está a un paso de ser Mitsunari jr., con eso que el Tigre de Kai está malito y le encarga el changarro y que deja a linda chica... ejem al lindo muchacho prácticamente 'volando' sin saber que hacer o a donde ir... salvo que 'debe' vencer al gandalla de Ieyasu.

Si algo le llegara a pasar a Masamune sama, el poder destructivo del gandalla de Kojuuro dejaría a Mitsunari, Yukimura e Ieyasu blinkeando en la loma y lo mismo aplica con Hondam en caso de Ieyasu.

A Kasuga y Matsu les diremos que ajá y que tememos mucho, mucho, su venganza... De hecho sí, el circo de Matsu es relativamente terrible.

Yoshitsugu buscaría venganza por venganza's sake. Kotaro... simplemente buscaría otro patrón. Pero el punto es que 8 de cada 10 gatos buscarían venganza. Es lo 'normal'.
